Engage in professional growth and leadership
Teachers continuously improve their professional practice, model lifelong learning, and exhibit leadership in their school and professional community by promoting and demonstrating the effective use of digital tools and resources.
Reflection:
Professional development is something I wish to lead in my teaching job. I wish to collaborate with other teachers to continually improve instruction. I also wish to discuss current research with others. This can be accomplished by sites like Scoop.it , where teachers can collaborate to link sites related to a topic together. Additionally, ThingLink allows teachers to collaborate using links relevant to an image. Also, by creating my class website, Ms. Gibson’s Class Website, I am able to demonstrate use of digital resources.
Future Learning Goal: I hope to create a website to lead professional development at my school. By leading student learning, I hope to inspire my fellow teachers to use technological integration and better improve my website building skills.
